Melissa X Pedro Lourenco

Brazilian designer Pedro Lourenço has been designing professionally since the ripe age of 12 with a critically acclaimed showing in Paris by age 19. Most recently, he’s collaborated with Brazilian-based brand Melissa for a first in shoe production and much like his Spring 2013 collection, we’re obsessed with the shoe they’ve released. Now available on our favorite shoe destination, Solestruck you can grab the ankle-cuff sandal for $175. Everything about this shoe is perfect for the season ahead!

Shopping Saturdays: The Boston Bazaar Shop is a Go

Yes, we are going to absolutely take some time out to plug our shop.  We’re opening our first ever pop-up shop tomorrow in Springfield, MA and we’re having a massive Grand Opening sale BUT no need to fret because that same exact sale will be available online. It starts at noon with 30% off your entire purchase and dwindles down to 10% around 4.  If you are somehow far too busy on a Sunday to make it to the site (or shop!) by 4pm, no worries – we’ll be throwing codes around our Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and blog for you to still snag some sweet deals.

Check out the pop-up shop at the Eastfield Mall in Springfield or shop online at Shop.TheBostonBazaar.com!

Good-bye Buyers Remorse

Imagine if there was a way that you never had to feel guilty about shopping again. What if, in fact, you could actually do good by buying your favorite designer’s clothes? Dream no more, because the online shopping site, Community Collection, gives customers that philantropic experience. Community Collection donates 20% of each sale designer-specified causes, and has raised over $1600 dollars since it was launched on October 18th. The website has limited-time boutiques ( kind of like Gilt Group) and currently sponsors 15 causes. Some of the first designers to participate are Alexander Wang, Equipment, Adam, and Current/Elliot which have partnered with Operation Homefront, American Cancer Society, Goods for Good and Girls Inc. respectively. This is seriously such an amazing initiative, and we couldn’t have been more pleased to stumble across this website. As if we didn’t have enough excuses to shop already….

Rodart Back at OC This Fall!

The Rodarte for Opening Ceremony collection made some serious waves last season as the affordable and more everyday wearable collection made its way into the closest of OC regulars and Rodarte enthusiasts everywhere. Kate and Laura Mulleavy are back for another collection this fall full of silk prints, cable-knit sweaters, and pinafore-inspired dresses that will hit stores early October.
