We just adore a Fedora!

Again, like we mentioned when we discussed the Missoni fo Target line, don’t EVER discount a big-box department store for fabulous fashion finds! Target is the hot spot once again for just that with the new line of Albertus Swanepoel hats. From fedoras and cloches, to a great little pillbox, Swanepoels hats are great to be any finishing touch to an outfit.

However, this is not Swanepoels first fashion endevour. As an award-winning fashion designer, the South African native has worked with the likes of Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg and Proenza Schouler by designing accessories for runway shows. However, you can now fine his own line of apparel in Barneys, Diavolina and Odin NY and even Louis Boston!

We don’t support breaking the bank for the latest and greatest, (well….with exceptions!) and neither does Swanepoel. Alberus Swanepoel’s line of fabulous hats can be found in Target stores nationwide this fall.

FALL into the new pieces from Converse for Target

Autumn is right around the corner, which means its time for hot coffees, apple picking and of course, a new wardrobe! One place to shop get some snappy solo pieces – or even a full outfit! – would be your local Target. While we don’t always think big-box department stores are the first place to get the latest style, the Converse line is not to be underestimated! For the ladies, some notable items include ruffled cardigans, abstract tops and of course, satchel bags! Maybe even a cute dress for those ‘Indian summer’ days!

Converse has all of the pieces to satisfy those traditional fall layers cravings – Jackets over hoodies over shirts -  and Target has plenty of everything! The line has plenty of army and navy toned jackets with numerous pockets, zippers and epaulettes.

Each outfit or item looks complete when paired with a nice pair of classic converse. All items can be found online or in your local Target!

What pieces will you FALL in love with?!

Duckie Brown Introduces Mrs. Brown

Menswear designers Daniel Silver and Stephen Cox of Duckie Brown have decided to launch a women’s collection this fall entitled Mrs. Brown. This 17 piece collection with prices ranging from $30 to $375 will feature a tank dress, hoodies, beanies and a variety of knit pullovers. At this time, the collection will be sold at A. Turen in New York, Abersons in Tulsa, and Distractions in San Francisco.

Daniel Silver discusses the collection Mrs. Brown to WWD saying, “We started Mrs. Brown with knits because women always love a great knit. We thought it would be a great introduction into the market. We could test the waters.”

For the spring Silver and Cox plan to expand their women’s wear collection into wovens and outerwear.
