Rudy Aldridge for Vogue Italia October 2011
In the October 2011 issue of Italian Vogue, Miles Aldridge photographed his sister in Home Chic. Posed in front of an exaggerated, artificial, somewhat unsettling background, Rudy Aldridge looks more like a mannequin than a breathing human being. Despite the vibrant colors and gorgeous clothes, the spread makes being a housewife look creepy… so needless to say, we love it.
This is really amzgnialy shocking! I’m not usually impressed by Fashion Photography, but this is amazing. Vogue always has these pictures of women dressed exaggeratedly, with big puffy dresses doing simply things such as dishes in the kitchen, or like here, playing piano. It amazes me how something so simple can set so expectations. This is beautiful, congratulations.
